Overcooked the Porterhouse, still a fine meal though

It's not often I overcook a fine steak, but I was guilty as charged last night. Sadly, I have nothing to fall back on (I was as sober as a preacher). Thankfully the quality of the beef came through and it still tasted great.

Served with a loaded baked potato and a simple romaine salad.

I agree- it looks great from here. I usually go a bit more on the rare side but I would by happy with that. The loaded potato and salad look great too.

Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I'm calling that medium, and I would eat that, I lean more to 130 or 132, and have over shot many steaks. Good-looking cook right here!
