Half moon cast iron skillet from BGE - Need to season?

My wife picked me up one, do I have to season it?  If so, any good links or instructions on how to do it? I never seasoned cast iron before.
I was actually thinking I would try hamburgers on it today, but if I have to season it, I do not think I will be able to.  Thoughts?
