Now that the holidays are over getting back to normal hopefully! Hope everyone had a great holiday season.

Christmas Day was with some friends and family and the hostess started with some local stone crab. Also had a crown roast of pork and an Egret ham-some will become split pea soup in the New Year. Not all of these pics were egg food, but sure great. 12 adults managed to force down 15#'s of these babies.

Managed to make a chocoflan bundt cake for the occasion.

Last week decided I needed a wing fix.

Dried in frig 2 days and breaded with flour, seasoning, crushed onions fried.

They were nice and crispy an hour later indirect 375F on small BGE.

Fast forward to last Thursday, my friend, Lambchop, gets a call from our favorite local crabber. He had some floaters and wondering if were were interested??? wrong question. Bought 9 lbs at a very great price as they were floaters-not fully developed. In case you have not figured it out, we love to get stoned.

So what do you eat with them? Brined some pork chops, made split pea soup with some Christmas ham and a few green beans and onions.

Chow time.

Thanks for hanging in with this post. Have a great New Year!
