We stopped by Costco a couple of days ago and picked up some choice ribeyes. Four of them were $48. We wanted Prime but two were almost the same as four choice's. We had not tried the Costco choice steaks and decided to go for them. Glad we did. There wasn't much if any difference in the taste or tenderness over the Prime ribeyes we bought for Judy's birthday party.
So unless we win the Lottery, we may buy Choice from now on.
It was large enough for the two of us so we just cooked one.
Here's just a few photos of the reverse sear cook, including the end result.

Yes, it was delicious. We may have another one tonight.

Very nice looking cook Mr Chicken! The only thing I question is: You said > "It was large enough for two of us so we cooked just one"Really?I could easily eat that steak by myself. In fact, I've never seen a steak that I thought I needed to split with someone else."I'm stupidest when I try to be funny"
