#11 Super Sized

So I probably haven't eaten at the old golden arches for over a decade, and full disclosure I had to look up what # value meal it is (at least in my neck of the woods), but here's my take on the dreaded Filet-O-Fish.  This was a really quick meal that SWMBO enjoyed and didn't leave us feeling like we ate a deep fried turd.

Cedar planked cod.

Plated on a Kaiser bun with some cheddar, tartar, and lettuce.  Served up with some rosemary fries.

Also grilled up some oysters with butter and parm for the Mrs.

Looks great! Don't think I'd eat oysters from the Golden Arches even if offered though! :]

I would definitely agree with that.  I think the only kind you'd get there would be of the throat variety and very undesirable.

Where did you / where can I get...the elder planks like that?  All I've seen anywhere is the cedar planks at Walmart.

I'd like to try some.
