I'm inSalado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

I used @Mickey coffee rub on mine and Fiesta seasoning on Sher-bear's. Really good but not a great cut of meat. The boro lacks choice.Green egg, dead animal and alcohol. The "Boro".. TN

I've noticed that with lots of roasting veggies - they seem to be smoke sponges, even using a very neutral lump like Rockwood. At this point the only veggies I do on the egg I do direct for relatively short times (asparagus, portobello mushrooms, summe squashes, etc) or have their own covering (corn in the husk, potatoes).LBGE
