Buffalo Roast

Anyone ever tried a buffalo/Bison roast. Was think of trying and read to cook at 225 for 6 to 8 hours. Wondering what lb per hr of cooking time on size or preferred size. any other tips appreciated from someone who has tried. Thanks for the help.
