Got our first cool day here, barely reading 56°. I love this kinda weather but hate what's right around the corner. Anyways today is going to be Spicy Chicken soup. It like a chicken chili really. Not my recipe but out of a small cookbook that came with the egg by RooDog.
The small is getting ready to get busy with some chicken for the soup and then will take responsibility for the DO.

Here you go John.
I made a couple of changes - 1- I cook a whole chicken and use about 1/2 - 3/4 of it. And I added 3 stalks of finely diced celery.

I agree, love the start of soup and braising weather. Doing it inside and not on the egg, but I'm doing beef burgundy for dinner tonight.

Not on the egg but got invited to a soup party, looked on reedit and made this for tonight. Adding cream and sour cream 30mins before serving taste so far is great.

I'm doing an Octoberfest chili. Just put kilbasa in with the rest of the ingredients. I need a bigger CI DO to finish on egg. Another item for the Christmas list. Check out my thread on it. Party photos to come. Sorry if I am high jacking this thread.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

Everything looks so GOOD! So I decided to do some too. These days, very low sodium for most things for this ol' boy, but once you get used to it, salt it just too, well, salty!
This recipe calls for only 1/2 tsp of salt, low sodium chicken stock and no meat. Roll your eyes if you like, but this stuff is very healthy - and delicious! Even on my stove (hey, it's raining )

My soup here...
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
