Turkey drumsticks

Hi
I've cooked lots of turkey thighs before they come out great. Anyone do drumsticks and how did they turn out? Do you do them low and slow? I'm concerned about them being too tough?

@Mickey does them a bunch, maybe he will chime in. I did 3 on Thursday and wasn't real happy with all the tendons that run through the meat. The taste was good but texture was off. Do them all the time (and wings). 400 direct raised and 180 in the leg. Started to hit with BBQ sauce the last 10 mins.
Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.
