The second pizza pie????

How come my second pizza pie is always so much better than the first. I waited a long time to put the first one one but the second one crisped better ,cooked faster and tasted superior. How long do you let it heat up before you put your first one on the stone?

Hour minimum for me at the target temp! If your cooking at 550 then leave it at 550 for an hour

Until the probe on the stone has held at the temp I want for a long time. Probably an hour.
