"Dry" run for Thanksgiving...

I've had my BGE for... nine days. So far I've done chicken thighs, ribeyes, and just last night I semi-smoked a chicken on the Turkey Cannon just to give it a test drive for a turkey in a little over a month.

Details...
  • 8-lb chicken
  • Turkey Cannon loaded with Rogue Dead Guy, sage & oregano
  • onion stuffed in the neck hole
  • mesquite chips, at 275 indirect until the thermometer popped

I'm only posting because I was picked apart for not posting photos of my first few attempts! Tonight, some more, thicker ribeyes, reverse-seared... more to come!
