It's just just hickory bark flavored cane juice, but it sounds cool.

    Have not, but I know an egger who swears by using that bark from shag-bark hickories for all his smoking. Says it has a mildly sweet taste which I believe as I have read recipes for brewing a tea like drink from boiling the bark.
