Big Green Craig's Chicken and Rice

Made this last night.  I made a few minor tweaks.  After browning the chicken I sauteed some onions, celery, and carrots and then added a little minced garlic.  I subbed 1/2 tbsp of tumeric for paprika and used basmati rice and a little more water (followed the instructions on the basmati package- 1 3/4 cup for 1 cup rice).  

It was really, really good and also so easy. I really like the technique of cooking the rice along with the chicken.  It turned out perfect and it is a 1 pan meal.  Thanks @Big_Green_Craig for the recipe.
