Hit griffin's grub and whipped these up. Chicken sausage and kraut. Little pepper, thyme, Caraway seed and Sam Adams. Easy and delicious. There's a sausage under all that. Next time I'll add some onions.

Looks tasty. Glad you liked it. I think onions or even some sliced apples or both would really work well with the sauerkraut.

Looks great! You can never have too many onions. Aidells sausage?Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Looks good hen. Actually did something similar this weekend, with PBR. This is where cheap beer shines, IMO. hahaha
Will have to try a kraut/onion bed during the braise. Usually pull the skillet off after the braise and then a quick sear roll around to brown. Have found the reg ol' Johnsonvilles work best compared with the butcher's own.

I can see where a stout beer would impart more flavor. I was going to sear but they hit the temp before I realized.Green egg, dead animal and alcohol. The "Boro".. TN

That looks mighty good. Where's the bacon? You usually hide your sausage with bacon.Flint, Michigan
