Wrapped in foil and steamed with beer for about 20 min at 350 indirect, then went raised direct at 400 until 160. Never tried this before, and it was pretty good.

Nice. You could probably cut out the indirect part since you have foil with beer in it and do both parts direct. That's a good temp for sausage.
