60 Pounds of Butts

6 big boneless butts just went on. 3 on top, 3 on bottom. The extended rack is resting on the bottom butts, but as they shrink there should be clearance.

Will be interesting to see what the yield is. I usually do bone-in.

May want to rotate the butts from top to bottom but it sure looks good.

3 hours in. Just rotated the one that had a dark side. Must have had a hot spot there. None of the rest have a spot like that.

It was actually quite good, and not too sweet. I had a pan of potatoes underneath and the chicken drippings with pineapple head gave them a great flavor.

First 3 are pulled. This thing works like a champ. 3 butts in less than a minute.

@cazzy Electric roasters, not ideal, but it's what we'll have available onsite. Plan to add a bit of coke while reheating.
