I've found its hard to make anything look cool when it's sitting on foil. Try putting them on a plate next time or even a plated shot w/ the chicken. To practice, take 4 shots from different angles and post the one that looks best. Practice makes perfect.Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ.... -

You have to start from the center and work your way out and dont cut to much of the base off. I put them on a sheet pan with foil under neath the chicken.
