First time beef stew on the egg la creuset

Options
Pulled out a top round to Make for sandwiches but made a last second veto to try stew. I usually use chuck and it is more tender but this will do. Nice flavor .
Surprised the 7qt LA creuset did not get too dirty.

Smoked the round first for a while, chopped dusted in flour and started in the pot. 300-350 on the egg had it simmering nice. I like to serve with some rice....starchy.
