Just reporting on a very successful sourdough pizza bake this Sunday lunch time. It's London calling here so I think some of the best sourdough pizza in the Capital can be found at Franco Manca's place in Brixton Market. ). We followed the recipe to the letter and baked it up on a seriously hot medium Green Egg. The results were totally gorgeous! Just the straight base basted with garlic and melted butter baked 'till puffy; then flipped and singed to perfection on the cast iron grill with the plate-setter and pizza stone removed. Take care removing the pizza stone and setter at this heat. One slip could be very painful.
