Found a 10.5 choice brisket yesterday at a smart and final in Los Angeles area and had to scoop it up. Don't know when I'm gonna be able to cook it but at that price I said what the heck and bought it.
Anyone ever freeze a brisket before? See any difference in final product?
Thanks

Hopefully it is cryovac packaged but regardless I have not had a problem with the freeze thaw cycle-but don't rush the thaw. Of course, given how fickle brisket is any taste differences could be meat or freeze related-never have done a controlled test. Always enjoyed the end-product. Good score in LA. Enjoy-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
