Boston Butt $1.29 per pound

My local Bi-Lo has butts on sale this week for $1.29 per pound, limit 2.  This might not be a good deal for some of you but in the Charlotte, NC area this is a good deal, butts have been going for $2.49-$2.69 per pound lately.

    That's pretty darn good as far as I'm concerned.  Last time I got them that cheap was when I bought about 50 lbs for a graduation party.  Also helps that I go golfing with the meat market manager so I do have a connection there.
    I raise my kids, cook and golf.  When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.
    Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.
