Wondering if anyone has taken the plunge for the new table BGE is offering and if so what your thoughts......likes and dislikes. Since it is so expensive was just looking for feedback.

I wanted it but the price tag is way too steep for something that will sit outside in the elements.

Made for BGE by Challenger Designs. Very high quality, made of aluminum, weather sealed doors and quality latches. Price is high compared to other Challenger tables. As far as I know, only BGE gets the rounded end cabinets and matching bge green color.

Lifetime warranty on the finish as well.

It's an absolutely beautiful table. Would love to own one. Just can't justify paying 3x the price of my XL Egg to buy one. Just me.

I do not think the 3500 covered delivery to the house either.

My set up is not pretty, but cost about the same and comes with three cooking surfaces.
XXL #82 out of the first 100, XLGE X 2, LBGE (gave this one to daughter 1.0) , MBGE (now in the hands of iloveagoodyoke daughter 2.0) and lots of toys -
i know this is an older thread but just wanted to chime in that I bite the bullet this weekend and purchased one of these islands for my XL egg......should be here in a couple of weeks.....i'm having a brand new deck built so I am super excited to be adding this island as well!
mine was roughly $3300. but it will for sure make my cooking experience a great deal more pleasant.
gettin lucky in kentucky! 2 XL eggs! -
Saw and messed with one at the Mothership and was amazed at the table as a whole. Great seals and super-spacious on the inside. The pull out shelves are impressive as well. It's a nice product, but SWMBO would kill me 10x over for knowing I even thought about it!!!

Great looking. At that price, it ought to have a fridge and warming trays! And a beer wench to serve my every liquid need. [I can say that, right?]It's a 302 thing . . .

@msloan, it's funny how things come back around, like this post that I commented on back in August. Long story short, I kelp my eye on this table from my local Ace dealer. I got ahold of the distributor that was marketing this table around to several different Ace stores. After months of it not selling and the distributor needed to 'move' it, as it was getting old. He make me a great deal on it and it is now holding my large very comfortably on my back porch. Tons of storage space and room for toys on the right, plus the sliding shelves under the base, make storage a breeze. You will love it.If it ain't a CAT, it's a dog!!! 2 LBGE's & BGE Backyard Chef Edition Cart

I believe they have other tables that are a little cheaper, but at that price my better half would want a hot tub. They are nice though.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.
