Mini Mod #3: Ball Control
This is why my biscuits burned this morning.
I had installed ball knob vent controls on some of my Webers, because the vent tabs would get hot during cooking. So why not make vent control on the egg easier? Not that it necessarily needs it, but as usual, because I can
Take the solid sliding piece out, and drill a hole in the center of the tab, but offset a little towards the outside edge. Slide in a 1/4" carriage bolt, and screw on the nuts and ball knob. i have a bunch of ball knobs left over form a previous project. They were cheap on Amazon.
He looks even spiffier now!
