Refreezing a primal

So I ordered a Prime 109 via the F&B operation at my work for myself. Plan was to put half of it into the freezer and half dry age for 21 days.
Unfortunately the guys took it off the truck and put it in the freezer right off the bat. So now I have to thaw it to cut it in half. Kinda PO'd about it but nothing I can do.
Can I stick to the original plan or is refreezing a thawed Prime Prime Rib heresy?

I don't think there is a problem of defrosting it to the point that you cut it in half and wrap it up and put it back in the freezer. Seafood can be raised up to 40 degrees and still be considered "frozen" by health standards.

Why wouldn't you dry age the whole primal then cut off what you need and freeze. You can go a hell of a lot longer than 21 days. 60 Days is the bomb

Umm, why not just take a saw to it? Will be a PITA, and you will loose a thickness of the saw's worth. But will avoid defrosting-refreezing.
A pro saw would be stainless, but an ordinary wood saw, carefully cleaned, will work. I've used a miter saw.

I think I am going the little steven route.
Start aging them both and then let one go longer.

Yeah... better that way than double freezing...IMO, changes texture, taste.
