Is this okay to cook on? Weber Charcoal Grate

Was looking for a grate to use to make a second level and raised grate when stacked on top of the existing grate in my LBGE. Found this "charcoal grate" at the local home mega store. It's not stainless but has no warnings against cooking on. Looks to be a good size. The one I found is 17" in diamater.
Thanks,
Charlie

It will be fine. Grab some carriage bolts, nuts, and washers to make a raised grid set-up.

Thanks. That was what I was thinking. Might have to get a second one and make a 1/2 raised grid as well. Can definitely see the usefulness in that.
