I know a few of us have the Baking Steel already and with a lot of us getting more I'd like to hear what people do to season their new Steel. I know I've seen a few people recommend using grapeseed oil, but just want a few more opinions if anyone has them.
I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.
Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

According to his youtube video, you don't have to season it initially because it comes pre-seasoned. When he did season it, he used flax seed oil.

I opted for the grapeseed oil...it was a couple of bucks less for the bottle.
