all, I have been thinking about how to keep mommy and daddy happy while also keeping the kids happy at dinner time.

The kids usually like a pizza and we want steak. Since they both can cook at close to the same temp this might be easy, so can I have the setup be CI grid with the plate setter on top of it legs up then the SS grid with the pizza stone on top of it?

would this cause any issues with the CI grid? Can or would I ruin the CR grid by putting a cold plate setter in top of it?

You will have no problems with that configuration.  Just be careful pulling out the hot stone and plate setter.  I broke a plate setter after pulling it out from a pizza cook.
