We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. We especially love these Beer Pork Tenderloin and Ground Beef Acorn Squash recipes! Tri-tip for today and meatballs for later this week.

Had a boys day with my little man today while Mom and little sister went dress shopping. Cooking a tri-tip roast for this evening and while I'm at it, getting meatballs cooked ahead for quick evening meal later this week. Tri-tip was just seasoned with Omaha Steak seasoning that the guy working the booth at the Omaha airport gave me when trying to convince me to overpay for steaks. Meatballs are a beef, pork, turkey mixture with some Mexican tomato sauce, onion, garlic, cayenne, egg and bread crumb. Cooking just shy of 300 grate temp. We'll see how it goes.
