Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
We hope everyone’s enjoying the first few days of summer. For us, the weather heating up means one thing - the EGG’s gonna be busy! Whether you’re making stuffed burgers for a backyard grill out, some brats before a baseball game or searing a steak for dinner on the patio, we hope you’re doing it with full flavor and having fun all the while!

Big Green Egg headquarters has moved - come visit our new showroom and check out the museum and culinary center too! 3786 DeKalb Technology Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30340

Finally finished (95%...) my table.

After piddling around with this thing for 3 months, I finally got it to a point where I can start using it.  There're only a few more small things to do, but I'm done with it for now.  I promptly started cranking out some food with it and, damn, I'm impressed.  This thing is beyond awesome.  First fire-up = I hit 700* on accident.  Was not expecting it to take off so quickly.  Whoops.

That is a great looking table.  I would put that inside the house it is so nice ;)

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

  • Looks great! What's left to do?
-Glue/silicone tiles in place and grout
-Add adjustable feet.  The table is torqued as evidenced by my cabinet doors not lining up.  I also want to get it off the ground and out of the water.
-Add a brace under both sides of the hole.  I forgot to reinforce them and it's kinda flimsy in that area.
    -Add a towel rack.
-Add utensil holders inside the left cabinet door
    -Attach my bottle opener.
-Flush Mount my GFI electrical outlet.
-Was thinking of putting little slot-type holders for my (3) ceramic stones.

Ok, so maybe it's only 90% done.  But, it works for now.
