It doesn’t get much hotter than the EGG cookin’ in July! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated with a bit of whatever you’re using for the Beer Can Chicken. Ice Cream Sandwiches are also a great way to stay cool. Looking for some great ideas for a summer cook out? Try out a Pimento Cheeseburger or Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise. Oak Ridge BBQ Sampler Pack

Someone mentioned this in a post the other day...thought it was worth mentioning.

Go to http://www.oakridgebbq.com/ and you can get a sampler pack for $5.  If you have paypal already this takes about 20 seconds to check out.  Mine shipped the same day and I just got it.  It is a good amount of rub.  Excited about my next tri-tip with the Santa Maria steak rub!

~ ONE PENNY SAMPLE 5-PACK ~

1 Penny Ultimate Combo Sample Pack - Includes All 5 Rub Varieties! That's over 7 Ounces of Rub for under $5, shipping included!* - $4.95

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I did it too. The Sectret Weapon was great on ribs and the chicken rub was really good on hens. I'm waiting to try the Santa Maria this weekend.

Rib rub was good, wasn't crazy about the Santa Maria rub on tri tip. Nothing wrong with it, I just prefer a more simple rub on my tri tip. http://www.susieqbrand.com/cart.php?m=product_detail&c=1&p=7 Their Habanero Death Dust is great on chicken wings, not part of the sampler but well worth trying
