First brisket (with a butt)
Trying my first brisket (8.5 lb flat, looks like some point, not sure). Threw a 6 lb butt on top also. Had success with a 8 lb butt last weekend thanks to this forum. Going for 290-300 dome as suggested (grate temp holding steady at 265 after 2 hours). Will butt or brisket be done first? maverick probe in brisket at 155 after 2 hours.
