Thoughts on this for a pizza stone

These things can go over 2000 degrees and they are a lot cheaper then most pizza stones. They also come in different sizes. Anyone see a problem using these in an egg?

  •  I also use a pottery/kiln store "kiln shelf", as they call it. Of course it works...I almost never bake a pizza at 2000 degrees. The one for my small egg cost $13.
