XL Indirect Cook?

What do you recommend for indirect cooking on the XL? In reading some forum posts, it appears there are better options than the BGE platesetter. Perhaps a spider and a pizza stone? Or do you think there is a better setup? Thanks!

I dont know how anything could be better than the PS. I have only had the egg for a year . but I have done many low and slows with near perfect results. I just added a small and got the PS for it as well.

If form holds true, you will get all kinds of suggestions as to what is best. The only one who can answer that is you based on your cooking patterns.I have the PSWoo3 with a grid extender and a pizza stone. The platesetter sits in the woo. I can do about anything I want with this arrangement.Others like the adjustable rig better.
