Maple Syrup Cedar Planked Salmon (w/pic)

I usually cook cedar planked salmon with olive oil and Dizzy Pig Raging River. This time I used maple syrup instead of olive oil. It was really good. You really don't have to use that much maple syrup so it wasn't too sweet.

    I haven't tried syrup, but I have used honey and then Raging River Rub on my last 3 salmon cooks, and it was excellent.  The hint of sweetness is really nice.  I may have to try syrup sometime to compare.
