I have been an avid forum reader since I purchased my XL a year ago...the talent and knowledge of the folks here is AMAZING.  A bit shy so I have been in the read only mode. However I now find that I need some help. The son, daughter-law, grandkids and neighbors came over for some Memorial Day BBQ. The plan called for chicken breasts, corn on the cob and baked beans. All was well till I went to open the dome to flip the chicken. Egads... the lid would open only about 4 inches. Since the egg was at temp there was not much I could do but reach in with tongs and flip the meat and roll the corn. The meal is now over, and the egg has started to cool. I can not see anything that would cause the dome to not open past 4 or 5 inches. HELP!!!
