XL band assembly

Just bought my first BGE (XL) and have a question regarding band assembly.In the instruction guide page 1 step 2 ( I have followed installation of hardware exactly) it states to install 10 1/4x5/8 clinch studs  into remaining locations. However illustration A only accounts for/shows location for 8; confused on where remaining 2 go. They cannot be for eggmate because that would require 4.
