Do all Eggs have an etching on the inside of the lid?

Having just getting my Egg this week, I'm curious as to whether all have this on the inside of the lid ...

    I didn't see it out of the box ... only after my first cook with smoke on it ... I suppose it will get to dark to see later ...

    Thanks for chiming in everyone ... it is obviously something that is with the later built units, not exclusive to mine.
