    Basically those guys didn't know what they were dealing with. The 2 negatives to the BGE were price and no water pan, I have used all kinds of smokers and a water pan is needed in most smokers but not the egg, the moisture from the meat stays in the egg and is so much better than a mediocre smoker with a water pan in it. And as far as price goes, if you testing a $70000 Corvette against a $30000 Miata which one is the better car well by far the Corvette but if you pay for a Miata don't be expecting a Corvette.
