Got Chicken?

The plan was to try the onions that Naked Whiz posted with chicken bouillon and butter instead of beef. Decided at the last minute to try it both ways. One vidalia onion with chicken bouillon dusted on it, the other with the beef variety. Both were pretty tasty but I think I might have overdone it because they both were a little too salty for me, The rest of the meal went without a hitch. Chicken Spatch with cherry smoke, mixed veggies and buttermilk biscuits. All in all the meal was a big hit.

FWIW, Herb Ox makes a very low sodium (no MSG) variety of both chicken & beef bullion.

That must be the problem. I was using high octane blend...

Great looking chicken. I have done a couple that way and they come out very moist and tender. Now I just would like to get a little more flavor in the chicken.. practice.. practice and more rub..
