DP Raising the Steaks - Good????
Using Raising the Steaks for first time tonight. Smells peppery. How much do folks use, and what is the flavor you like about the rub? Is it unique??
Cant wait!!!! Have not had a DP product I havent loved!!!
RTS is good but cowlick is my favorite
It or Cowlick are the cats ass on a steak. Both works as well too.
I agree with Pat, love Cowlick. But RTS is good too, similar to Montreal seasoning, with a little DP kick.
For no good reason :ermm: I have got into the habit of tapping a rub bottle a few times on the counter and then turning on its side and rolling around a few times just to make sure its mixed up.
Used Cow Lick tonight.......it's awesome.
I like it...but Red Eye Express is my favorite. I often marinate steaks in Garlic Expressions (garlic/olive oil dressing).
My personal favorite Dizzy Pig is the Redeye Express. It's incredible on steaks, burgers and especially Rack of Lamb.

the cats ass
We really like RTS on burgers. Gives them more of a "steak-y" flavor.
Also really good on roasts.
For steaks I usually do one site with RTS and the other with Cowlick. Best of both worlds
Egging in Denton, Texas
Lets not split hairs.
RTS with a touch of Cow lick goes on most on my steaks.
