Big Green Egg has, from the beginning, embraced and credited the passion of the EGG owners as the most powerful form of marketing that any company could dream of. The EGG is known far and wide for the dedicated following that deeply cares not only for the product, but for the extended family bonds formed between members of the forum community. It is apparent more than ever that this is still true.

The Big Green Egg forum has been the heart and soul of this community. Because we have always understood this, shutting down the forum has never been a consideration for this company. Big Green Egg without the EGGhead Forum? No way!

We are, however, working to update the Forum website so that it can continue to grow and support an increasing number of members as a fun and rewarding on-line community.

To support this growth, in the near future the platform on which the forum runs will be upgraded and the graphics on the page will be updated to keep the site fresh and easier to navigate. You can be assured that all posts - including archived posts, all recipes and all user names and passwords will still be accessible at EGGheadForum.com.

Also, Brenda Miller, who has so devotedly been involved with the forum since the very beginning, will soon be learning to navigate the new software so that she can continue uninterrupted in her role.

We thank you for the concern about, and commitment to, the Big Green Egg forum. Your support is important to us, and we are honored by your passion for the Big Green Egg! Check back soon for more updates.

    Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for the update :) There are so many parts that make up the "Big Green Egg" and not all of them are ceramic. to loose any of them would be a loss to great to comprehend as has been demonstrated the last few days. I know the forum is not "under warranty" but for many is as important as a fire box or dome :) looking forward to seeing what is ahead for all.

    Thanks so much for the update. There is nothing like a little light on the subject to remove the darkness that is conjecture and speculation. I have read with some interest the post of the previous days and found that I knew that I would miss this place should it go away.

    I am, however, very excited about the changes to come. While the folks that are part of this forum are wonderful people and have a wealth of Egg knowledge the forum software leaves much to be desired by today's standards. As the Egg is the Ultimate Cooking Experience the forum should also be the Ultimate forum experience.

    Thanks so much to everyone that makes this site go... the posters out front and all the folks that work behind the wall as well.

    There has been so much speculation and misinformation that it would be nice to know who this person is. With only 29 posts, it makes me wonder. If anyone can verify this person works for BGE, that would be great.

    I send all newbies and many inexperienced Egg owners to the Forum to learn how to get the best results from their Egg, as well help and recipes.

  • Thanks for telling the forum about the "CHANGE", people will sometimes take a rumor about change and get their "undies all in a twist".
    Knowing what the change will entail makes the new thing less of a change and more of an improvement.

    Thanks for a little bit of information as to the coming changes and that BGE does care about the forum members. Hopefully the new format will continue to promote the 'family feel'.

    Again, a huge Thanks to the Millers and their staff which has put a lot of work into our enjoyment of the Egg Life.

    This particular post from HQ most likely would have never surfaced if the 'rumors' had not been posted.

    Further, it now is apparent that those "rumor's" are somewhat based in fact.

    Looking forward to seeing more of your food posts with pictures. However at times I do enjoy the irony.
