no burger buns and had long rolls in the freezer so they were up 
squished out the meat and put blue cheese in mine and colby/jack in Neils. cooked a little bacon and onions to go in too on to the mini. little left over hunk for the dogs LOL

Jules, can't say I've ever had a burger on a hot dog bun, but have often had dogs on burger buns. Buns are buns though - use whatcha got!
Good lookin' "burger" in any case.I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I've been thinking about your long burgers and remembered that I've got a special mold for making burger dogs.
Apparently, I didn't follow the instructions when I made my first one because it looks more like a long burger.
You have now inspired me to try again.
