Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. We especially love these Beer Pork Tenderloin and Ground Beef Acorn Squash recipes! Fall is upon us, and it's a great time for getting out to one of the many #EGGfests around the country - see a list here

and then did an overnight with a butt. The tenderloin was Fantastic, and the but was Great too.

We did a taste test tonight, the tenderloin won, but the feelings were mixed the butt was juicier. ( fatty?) but the tenderloin won.

so I figure for the party I am going to make a bunch of the tenderloin for the adult half of the party. and when the Friends of my son show up with the band, we will put out the less expensive butt pulled pork.

But I will tell you the Tendrloin was Fantastic, and no guessing on the time. the 5 pound butt took 12 hours.

if you want pulled pork at a specific time, and you want some jaw dropping WOW that is great, make it from Tenderloin.
