Well, my large BGE needed a little brother and I scored a used medium BGE today. Somehow I got the lid unhooked from the lower band in order to move it but of course, now I can't get the bolts to line up. When I bought the large, I had it assembled before delivered, so I don't know what to do or how to do it. Help!

Not exactly sure what your problem is? But if the dome/upper band is loose from the bottom just relax all the bolts, set the dome in place, position your bands and tighten. You may have to fiddle with it a little, but it will come together, don't panic
If necessary [ if the bolts are bent to badly] go to your local hardware and by some new ones, 5/16th x 2" galvanised, grade 5. -
Watch this video it's part one of I think 3.
They are building a large but, that's close enough.
