Got my first case of wine today from the Wall Street Journal wine club. Got six red, six white, a nice opener and a book with inserts and history of each wine. Thought it would be a fun way to learn and sample. Came right to the doorstep by UPS! Can't wait for the weather to break so I can get egging in earnest again!

And this is what Tucker looks like when he drinks too much wine! Kidding!

Hope everyone is good!

  • We had to the door wine service in Melbourne. Your post has me pining for those days. No similar service in this country as far as I can tell.

There's a horse on your bed!

I've seen the WSJ ads for wine, even got a $100 certificate once, but never bit on the deal.. Let us know if the juice is any good.

Fidel... A horse with big choppers! :P The first is a really good deal - total about 7.40 a bottle; following cases at about 13.25 a bottle - assuming it is all good wine, that's still a good deal. It will be interesting to try.

What fun Julia! Hope you don't try them all at once!! BTW, my new obsession is the Hopi hot sauce you gave me on cottage cheese. YUM.

Steven, I don't think so... But actually, Vermont was not on the list of available ship-to states, so who knows... And speaking of who knows...who's Brian? Hoping this is not a joke on me!

Lots of wine and a really big dog with big teeth.

Enjoy your wine and your nice dog. :)

I enjoy the wine articles and reviews in the WSJ. And their idea for "Open that Bottle Night" starting a few years back was genious.
