Marc, aka Primeeggister1 asked me to try his new rib rub on some babybacks. His All Purpose rub is great on chicken, so how bad could this new stuff be? Turns out it's pretty darn good
The raw stuff, bbs,Cluck and Squeal Rib Rub, Maple syrup and my go-to rib smoking wood, sassafras.
Rubbed.
Basted with the maple syrup and re-dusted with C&S..after 4 hours in the Egg.
Done.
They came out very tender, juicy and richly flavored. Cluck and Squeal Rib Rub adds a wonderful taste to ribs. Accents your meat, doesn't over-power it. :P
No mustard or foil was harmed during this cook.

Thank you very much. Alas, they are now ex-ribs. They are no longer with us, they have shuffled off to Buffalo.

Great looking ribs, Steve. I have yet to try them in the egg. We did a ton of ribs right before Thanksgiving and before I got my egg and we kind of got burned out on them, but I think I might have to do some this weekend.
