A friend at work was nice enough to make this up for me. It looks huge in the pics but really handles well. I like the extra room so I don't drop the pie during transport
I tried the plate setter legs up/grill/pizza stone set up for this cook. It worked well, I will use it again.
Some pics
Ok, I wussed out on the first pie and used parchment, just so there would be one to eat
Second one formed and dressed on the peel.
Got it onto the Egg without a hitch, and it even stayed round :woohoo:
This is a great way of getting the pie outside, and I will keep on practicing with it.
Thanks for looking
Shane

Good job Shane. You got one handy dandy peel.

WOW! That is a nice big peel... :woohoo:
Your baking set up is what I do when making a pie, but I use the plate setter legs down. -
I am liking the blue circle haha!

Nice new rig you made.
At first, I thought you were going to show us the new one made by BGE.

The handle spins on itself, to make storage easier.
Also, checkout the new Jalapeno Rack with Corer. Makes we want to go out and cook some now. We just might have to pickup some of these new toys at the Sunshinefest that's just around the corner. -
