I will offer up a contrast...
and it is not all play down here I did work last week
one of the rugs being done in the class. We did not color plan it but it is one of our designs. My mother does all our patterns. I dye all the fabric to the colors needed.
Diana has been working on it for less than a year. this is about 5x9.

75 degrees here yesterday, so a trip to the beach for lunch was in order.
I carry a pair of socks in my purse in case my ankles get chilly - did not need them yesterday!!

This past Sunday on top of Buffalo Mt. Floyd Va. You could see for miles around but everything looked brown :blink:

Tense calm waiting for the drop in temp. tonight. We are expecting a 60* F drop from 95* last sunday to around 32*F in a few hours.

Admittedly belated.
We had a beautiful snowfall a couple weekends ago. Beautiful, perfectly formed flakes that gently piled up (not like the violent blizzard last night).
