Come on now! Ronnie Lott once cut off a broken finger just so he wouldn't miss a game! Rub a little dirt on it and get back in the game!

It was in the mid twenties and about 5:30am. 4 wheeler didn't want to cooperate. I tried to rough it up a little and lost the fight.

I think the weather has done that for me. I was over your place Monday and all I saw were about ten thousand snows across the road in someones field.
  • Jojo,
    Sorry for da finger
Start drinking yer milk and o.j., too, bud ;)
  • Hope you had a good season at least. I guess this will give you an excuse for someone else to get decoys, etc. picked up after season.

Did someone mention hunting ducks. When can I come over, at least to shoot some snows
  • We have more than anyone could possibly stand over in AR right now. We need as many hunters knocking this runaway population down. just not a lot of interest in chasing them in this part of the country.

Is it true there is no limt and no need for a permit?
  • HossHoss Posts: 14,600
That part is true. The part you may not know is that they are a PITA to hunt. You need an entourage just to set up to successfully hunt them in these parts unless you spot and stalk on drainage ditches.

Thanks, the season was actually the worst one I've had in a long time. The river has had no water all season and that's the place I hunt most. Maybe next year.

well, if we play this right, we can get broken finger boy to put out the decoys!

  • You need a license/duck stamps but after duck season runs out the conservation order is in place. Limit is 20 per person but no possession limit. Also you can use electronic callers

I know at least 1 other guy who would be up for a weekend road trip. Maybe 2 more.
  • You can have at'em. I gave up chasing the geese as I don't have the time to put into scouting, rags, decoys, etc. Generally after duck season I have exhausted my hall passes.

It was all good till you said that piece of bone was still hanging on to the tendon! I just had chills.

I could have read that Xray a whole lot cheaper than the radiologist :woohoo:

Hope you do well and get on the mend soon.
  • Man, JoJo, that looks rough! It sure acted like a torn tendon, but the tendon was so tough, it ripped the bone loose where it attaches to the bone. WOW !

Explains why your finger was "tighter'n a tick" .

Hope the surgery goes well and you feel better soon.
