I know that it's a bit early, but the weather was nice today,so I decided to smoke the ham today.Special thanks to my secret santa for helping my family during the holiday season ;) Here's the ham pics, and no,there are no plated pics.I was too full by the the time I sliced it all up :silly:   This was a 7lb ham and I smoked it with hickory and peach wood at 250 for about 3 hrs :) I now have some delicious meat for sammies this week at work :woohoo: Thanks for looking ;)

Other than being easier to cut and serve is there a difference from a smoking stand-point between whole and spiral? Yours looks great.

    Thanks Turk,in my limited experience,the spiral cut ones cook a bit faster.When I say cook,I mean reheat really,because this is a precooked/smoked ham.It's really just a reheat thing,with some extra smoke :)

Yes. Spiral will dry out on you if you go a minute longer than you need to

You use Egrets glaze or what it came with. Picked up a spiral sliced one today to do in the next day or so.
